Requirements for Admission to the First Year

All applicants for admission to the medical college are screened by the Admission Committee. After a thorough study of all pertinent information, the Admission Committee makes a list of those who in their opinion are best suited for the study of the medicine and recommends that they be accepted for enrolment to the first year level.

There are several requirements that have to be fulfilled before any applicant can be considered by the Admission Committee.

1. The applicant must have completed any four year course from an accredited institution.

2. The applicant must fill out completely and accurately one (1) application form to be submitted to the Admission Office.

3. The applicant must submit his/her complete transcript of records of all college grades obtained. If the applicant is an undergraduate, he should submit a complete transcript of all his/her grades up to the first semester prior to his graduation and should include a certificate from the Registrar of his/her institution stating the subjects he/she is taking in the second semester of the school year immediately preceding application. He/she should list down all other requirements and the school he/she intends to complete them including summer sessions. To be eligible for admission, he/she should pass all these courses.

4. The applicant must also submit the result of his National Medical Admission Test (NMAT).

5. Three (3) signed passport size pictures are required of each applicant to be submitted with the application form. The pictures should have been taken within sixty (60) days of the date of admission.

6. All applicants residing in the Philippines are required to pay an application and entrance exam fee.

Foreign Applicants

All applicants for admission to the medical college are screened by the Admission Committee. After thorough study of all pertinent information, the Admission Committee makes a list of those who in their opinion are best suited for the study of Medicine and recommends that they be accepted for enrolment to the first year level.

5. All applicants not residing in the Philippines are required to pay an application fee of $ 200.

Requirements for Transferees

1. Honourable dismissal/Certificate of Transfer Credential.

2. Scholastic Record/Copy of Grades

3. NMAT Result (Score)

4. Certificate of Good Moral Character/Recommendation Letter from former College Professor, Dean and Registrar

5. Birth Certificate

6. Application Form

7. Two (2) Pieces 2x2 Picture

8. Five (5) Pieces Mailing Stamps

9. Validating Exam

10. Certificate of Eligibility for Admission (CEA)

11. One (1) Long Folder

12. Two (2) Long Brown Envelopes

13. One (1) long Plastic Envelope

Requirements for Enrolment

All applicants selected for admission are notified of their acceptance and are required to report to the Office of the Dean of the College of Medicine. They must comply together with the school requirements within a specific period of time in order to enrol in the medical school. Otherwise, the acceptance will be forfeited in favour of other deserving applicants.

1. Submit to a medical examination by the Health Services of the College of Medicine. Good health is a requirement for admission.

2. Submit to the Admission’s Office the following admission requirements for first year:

1. Transcript of Record (TOR)

2. National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) Result

3. Certificate of Eligibility for Admission (CEA)

4. Three (3) Pieces 2x2 Picture

5. Three (3) Recommendation letters or Certificate of Good Moral Character from former College Professor, Dean and Registrar

6. Birth Certificate from the NSO

7. Application Form

8. Five (5) Pieces Mailing Stamps

9. One (1) Long Folder

10. Two (2) Long Brown Envelopes

11. One (1) Long Plastic Envelopes

12. Diploma/Certificate of Graduation

13. Medical Examination Results

3. Finally, the applicant should pay to the Accounting Office the required Tuition fee per semester plus the miscellaneous fees

Enrolment procedures

(For Irregular Students)

1. Secure clearance form from the Dean’s Office for Administrative and Academic clearance.

2. If approved, get academic clearance from the same office.

3. Proceed to Registrar’s Office for CHED and school requirements clearance.

4. Go back to Dean’s Office for Registration form.

5. Proceed to Accounting Office for student accounts, clearance, assessment and payment of tuition fees.

6. Fill up the form and submit each form to the corresponding department indicated therein.

(For Regular Students)

1. Secure clearance form the Dean’s Office for Administrative and Academic clearance.

2. Proceed to Registrar’s Office for CHED and school requirements clearance.

3. Proceed to Accounting Office for assessment and payment of fees.

4. Present receipt to Registrar’s Office for registration.

5. Fill up or accomplish registration form.

6. Submit registration form to each indicated department.
